Today we're excited to announce the public beta of Sutido, a fast and beautiful MongoDB client built for developers who value speed and simplicity.

Why Sutido?

As developers who work with MongoDB daily, we were frustrated with the existing tools. They were either slow, cluttered with features we didn't need, or priced out of reach for individual developers and small teams.

We wanted something different: a tool that's fast, keyboard-driven, and gets out of your way. Something that respects your time and doesn't require a subscription that costs more than your coffee habit.

Key Features

IntelliShell

Our context-aware query editor understands your data. Start typing a field name and Sutido suggests completions based on your actual collection schema. It samples your documents and extracts field paths up to three levels deep, giving you accurate suggestions without manual configuration.

AI-Powered Query Generation

Describe what you want in plain English, and Sutido generates the MongoDB query for you. We support three AI providers—OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude—so you can use whichever you prefer. Your API keys are stored securely in your operating system's keychain.

Multiple View Modes

View your query results the way that makes sense for your data. Switch between table view for scanning large result sets, JSON view for detailed inspection, and tree view for navigating nested documents. Drill down into arrays and embedded objects with a single click.

Built-in SSH Tunneling

Connect to databases behind firewalls without configuring external tools. Sutido handles SSH tunneling natively, supporting both password and private key authentication. Your credentials stay secure in your system's keychain.

Snippets and History

Save your frequently used queries as snippets and organize them with tags. Every query you run is saved to your history, making it easy to find and re-run past queries. Search and filter to find exactly what you need.

Getting Started

Getting started with Sutido takes less than a minute:

  1. Download Sutido from our download page
  2. Run the installer
  3. Add your first connection using a MongoDB URI or manual configuration
  4. Start querying

What's Next

This is just the beginning. We're actively working on macOS and Linux support, more visualization options, and features based on your feedback. Join our Discord community to share your thoughts and help shape the future of Sutido.

We built Sutido because we needed it. We hope you'll find it as useful as we do.
