Getting Started
How do I install Sutido?
Download the installer for your platform from our download page. Run the installer and follow the prompts. Sutido will be ready to use in under a minute.
Is Sutido really free?
Yes! Sutido Free includes all essential features for personal use with no time limits. Pro features like SSH tunneling and cloud sync require a paid subscription.
Which MongoDB versions are supported?
Sutido supports MongoDB 4.0 and later, including MongoDB Atlas. Some features may require newer MongoDB versions.
Can I connect to MongoDB Atlas?
Absolutely. Sutido works great with MongoDB Atlas. Just paste your Atlas connection string and you're ready to go.
Connections
Why can't I connect to my database?
Common issues include firewall rules blocking the connection, incorrect credentials, or the database server not running. Check that your connection string is correct and that your IP is whitelisted if using Atlas.
How do I connect through SSH?
SSH tunneling is available in Sutido Pro. In the connection settings, enable SSH and provide your SSH host, username, and key or password. Sutido will tunnel your database connection through SSH.
Are my credentials stored securely?
Yes. All credentials are encrypted using your system's secure credential storage (Keychain on macOS, Credential Manager on Windows, libsecret on Linux). We never transmit your credentials to our servers.
Can I import connections from other tools?
Yes, Sutido can import connections from MongoDB Compass. Go to File > Import Connections and select your Compass export file.
Features
How do I save a query for later?
Click the bookmark icon in the query editor toolbar or use Cmd/Ctrl+S. Saved queries appear in the Snippets panel and can be organized into folders.
Can I export data to CSV?
Yes. After running a query, click the Export button and choose CSV format. You can also export to JSON or BSON.
Is there a keyboard shortcut for...?
Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to open the command palette, which shows all available commands and their keyboard shortcuts. You can also customize shortcuts in Settings.
How do I use the aggregation builder?
Click the Aggregation tab in the query editor. You can add pipeline stages visually and see results in real-time. The builder generates the equivalent MongoDB query code.

Can I get a refund?

You can continue using Sutido Free features. Cloud-synced data (snippets, history) remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation.
